Guest guest
, I'm sorry that you are now perplexed over your son's implant surgery tomorrow. I also hope you read my message earlier today. The brand wars can be ugly and are certainly unnecessary. I am sure that your son will benefit by the implant being done tomorrow. He would do well with any of them. Supporting the decision of the hospital and CI Center is important because they know which implant they are most comfortable with. Some have no preference but there again - some prefer one over the other. You are a brave parent and I wish to commend you for your decision to have your child implanted. The most important issue here is that he will be able to hear. This will give him greater avenues in life and your whole family will be blessed by this choice. Please let us know how the surgery goes tomorrow and even more - the activation. I'll look forward to more messages about your son. No - is not getting old technology. He's getting wonderful new technology with the potential for expansion beyond your imagination. I'm very happy for you all. Congratulations! To the list - this is the very reason I am so strong about the brand wars NOT being voiced here. Don't you all see how foolish it is? Look what you have done to this poor parent who is facing one of the biggest days of his life as a Dad tomorrow. Maybe now, you'll think more about what you write.
