Guest guest
Brava ! and welcome back! Tears of joy for you! Pam ----- Original Message ----- From: Kozlik Hi everyone! According to my surgeon, surgery went very, very well. Recovery yesterday started out great. I awoke with no pain or nausea. The only symptoms I noticed were tinnitus, a sore neck, dry mouth and dizziness whenever I moved my head. Later in the afternoon I started to develop a headache which gradually turned into a migraine (which I think was caused by the tightness of my bandage). Guest guest
Congratulations on your successful implant. Your comments bring up a question (I'm considering getting an implant.) My wife and I run a " Mom & Pop " business that takes me into a lot of people's homes. If I'm TOTALLY unable to hear (I barely can now.) during the six weeks convalescence, pre-adjusting, period of time following the operation, that will just about destroy our business. And THAT . . . would just about destroy our retirement. So - my question is . . . how likely is it that I will still have what little hearing I now have after the operation and implantation? Will it affect the hearing in my other ear at all? Thanks in advance for all your replies. DC
