Hi Friends!

It's that time again! Our next meeting will be this Saturday January 28th.

If you are new: it's at the HEAR Center in Pasadena from 10AM -12 and it

will be captioned. If you need directions please let us know.

The topic will be " How does it really feel to be HOH? " We will share

personal experience (good and bad) and share ideas to live better with

hearing loss! Sounds like a lot of fun !

As usual we will have breakfast treats, coffee, OJ... But most important,

hanging out to visit and catch up with friends.

home, February 5th from 2:30 to whenever! All are welcome, please e-mail us

for directions.

We have a very chatty list serve, you can go to the link now and read posted

messages even if you don¹t join the list serve. If you do join the list

serve you can go to files and read the meeting transcripts and steering

committee minutes.

HLA-LA (formerly SHHH-LA), was founded in September 2004 by a group of

adults with hearing loss. The purpose of this group is to bring support and

understanding to all people who live with a hearing loss (whether it is mild

to severe) and their family and friends. HLA-LA members communicate by lip

reading, writing signs, sign language or the use of a real time captionist.

Membership is free.
