Super! That's great! (Ya can't see me, but I'm clapping like crazy

here!)

Every time a story is written, it helps to raise awareness. It helps

ALL of us! Your story will be unique in that it will give a whole

family's perspective! It just can't get any better than that! Give us

an update when you can!

Our newspaper is so small, there aren't any links for any of the news articles,

as far as I know. I'll ask them, though. And, if there is, I'll copy and paste

the story for you. If not, I can always type it out, I can type at a pretty

fair pace :).

Take care,

Cin

That is great news, Cin! Will you please forward your story to us here (not

the link). Thanks.

I'll update everyone, and I hope the reporter is able to do a good story on

cochlear implants, and how they can change a person's life. I'm hoping that

other people will be motivated to look into getting one, as well. If they only

knew...

After I was activated, I was kicking myself in the behind for not going for it

years earlier! LOL.

Take care,

Cin

Congrats! I know what it's like to do this and it's very rewarding.

When it's available, please send it to me so that I can add it to the

website.

<GREAT BIG HUGE GRINS>. Well, at least in our small town, that is

<SIGHS>. A couple of weeks ago, I contacted our local newspaper,

after seeing a notice that they are looking for stories to write. It

said " Telling the story of our lives " or something like that.

Cin,

GREAT deal. Do you need a press agent to handle all the publicity?

Actually anything that gets the message out about implants is a good

thing. When you consider how many people can benefit from them, and

don't even know they exist.

Expect to see you on a realtity TV show any time. And I'll tell all

that I knew you and Silly before you became stars.

WooHoo, I am soooooooooo excited; my family may be media stars <GREAT BIG

HUGE GRINS>. Well, at least in our small town, that is <SIGHS>. A couple

of weeks ago, I contacted our local newspaper, after seeing a notice that

they are looking for stories to write. It said " Telling the story of our

lives " or something like that. So, I emailed the Editor-In-Chief, and he

emailed me right back, and said he was forwarding my email to one of the

reporters to do a story on us. In the email, I told about our family and

our hearing loss, and about getting cochlear implants! Sooooo, tonight, I

had an email from the reporter, and she wants to set up a time for an

interview!!! So, we're going to be in print!!! Well, not that I care

about me being in print, but I'm just so excited about being able to tell

about cochlear implants in our small town. Our newspaper office has other

offices in a few other towns in the area, as well, so I'm hoping they

will print this in all of the papers they are in charge of. That would be

so cool to be able to spread the word across Michigan about the miracle

of cochlear implants!

I don't know when the interview will be just yet, but the reporter wanted

to set up a time for us to meet. Now I'm on pins and needles, waiting for

her to get back with me, as I told her our family's shedule is pretty

well open. OK, enough babbling, can you tell I'm just a little excited

about this? LOL.

Take care,

Cin

sure it's Silly that you're " pressing " though :)

Hi, ,

Gee, I don't know what all the fuss is about. You and your family are

already media stars in our books here at ! Maybe the bits of your

sibling rivalries will remind parents to sepatate the kids, though! <giggling>

Good luck and congratulations. It's wonderful that you guys are so willing to

share to get the word of hope out to those who may be facing hearing loss beyond

hearing aid redemption.
