Hey, Ted?

If $50 American dollars will buy half the Sydney Harbour Bridge, I'll

send the $50 I received for doing the survey to buy the other half. Is it a

toll bridge? Is it heavily used? We could make a fast buck! LOL

Seeing as the bridge has already been sold off a few times, Jackie,

mainly to Americans, we might be better off investing the US$100 in one

of those Nigerian lottery scams. I hear they can be quite lucrative ;-)

I have my doubts whether or myself will be " chosen " , seeing as

we come from the land down under. It might depend on whether they are

looking for people of a certain age and and myself have all

bases covered, but only one of us would get chosen.

Well, Hey, Ted,

You guys can be silent partners! Nobody has to know a few Aussies are

in on the buy deal. And, um, I am also " of a certain age " but plan to be around

for a long time. We could keep that bridge running. Forget the Nigerians,

too many other scams sound much better and are in lands of sunshine! LOL

About the survey, unless they were collecting specific information

about clinics and such like, I dont see that it matters where you

live. If the questions are just about the device and what it does for

us each individually, it could be a global thing.

and I are already in the land of sunshine, Jackie :-)

Especially at Christmas - Summer here.

Hi Ted,

The survey is definitely international as I could take part in Germany.

You could ask Cochlear directly to a) find out whether they still collect

data and B) whether you might be a candidate in Australia. I can't see why

not, provided you fall in the category they are still looking for at the

moment.

Sabine in Cologne, Germany with

(12/98),

Christian (4/00, great hearing with 2 CIs since 4/01 after meningitis),

Florian (6/02) and

Tobias (8/04) -

all growing up bilingually German/English

Hello Sabine.

Thanks for that, that US$50.00 might be closer than we think, then.

I think one of the categories was for over 70's, thats about the only

one I havent qualified for yet :-)
