'Ahh, this is a nice map' survey

I've been meaning to ask how long it too you from the time of activation and to

feeling it was a good map for you and feeling like you are where you need to be?

I'm asking becuz my son wil be implant a week from Friday and then I will be

implanted sometimes after (thinking maybe Dec or early 2007). I'm unsure how

I'm going to help him while I'm dealing with my own hearing issues. I've told

my husband that he's going to have to put in a lot more help in with our son as

I'm currently the one who's been working with him and his HAs. He's aware of

that but I'm not sure how much he'll be able to help with work and other things,

I will be asking my 2 older kids (age 10 & almost 8) to help us out with

listening, speech, etc.
