Hi ,

The place to contact for patch cords for Annika would be Advanced

Bionics. They can refer you to the person who makes the cords for their

products.

Nucleus users get quite a few cords with their implants, so when folks

are talking about the cords they use or got with their implants, they

probably have Nucleus and got them with their implants.

But check out Bionics' website and write them telling them what you

need. Will be GREAT for Annika to start using the phone...at least until

she starts calling the boys long distance!!

Subject: Need for a patch cord

I know that I have read about someone who you can order patch cords

for the CI many times. And of course because when I read the

previous posts I did not need one. Now when I need one I can't find

my information. We just ordered an amplified phone for Annika and we

need to have the patch cord that will connect from her implants to

the phone. Also she has had her Leap Pad since Christmas and I am

dying to try that with her.

The phone company stated that we should have received something at

implant time but I have not found anything in either her BWP or BTE

boxes. I did get the suction cup one but this does not work, at

least in my opinion, with a 3 year old who is just learning to listen

to sounds and has never heard anything over the phone before. She

just can't tell us if it is positioned right over the phone. I have

tried testing her with this and have not seen great success at all.

But anyway, I would contact her audi about this but she is on

maternity leave and the other one in her place has not been a good

match. So I am falling back on everyone's expertise here.
