If Cochlear keeps track of what people already have, that might explain why

I didn't receive an extra audio cable in my Freedom welcome kit. However,

that leads me to wonder if the audio cable for the 3G can also be used for

the Freedom?

I have another appointment with my audi soon to check my magnet strength.

(I've lost weight since my hospitalization in February/March, so she wants

to check my magnet strength to make sure it isn't too tight.) I'll be sure

to ask her about the welcome kit at that time. This morning I wrote a

list of the accessories I'm missing, so hopefully we can track them down or

have them replaced.

Hi ,

From what I understand, all those who have upgraded to

the Freedom processor are NOT receiving the audio

cable, as I'm sure you know.

After I was activated with the Freedom in June 2005, I

gave my audio cable to a friend to experiment with her

3G. The *plug* used for the accessory port on the

Freedom did not fit into the 3G processor, so I know

that won't work. Sorry. Have a mocha on me?!
