Guest guest
Hi everyone, My daughter is supposed to have her CI surgery tomorrow morning. She woke up with a cold yesterday morning. She doesn't have a fever, and is otherwise fine. I called the center this morning to see what they recommend about the surgery and her having a cold. The person that handles theses type of calls is out today. The voice mail message said that if it was a medical concern, to leave a message and they will check the messages after 3:00 pm today. If it is urgent they will call back, otherwise, they will call back tomorrow. Our center is four hours away and we are leaving at 3:30 today. Depending on the number of messages, they may not even get ours before we leave. My question is do you think they will go ahead with the surgery or will we have to reschedule? I hate the thought of driving all the way up there just to be turned away. Who knows when we will be able to reschedule and you know how hard it is to keep a two year old healthy...Should we go anyway and just keep our fingers crossed?
