Keep plugging away - you are doing the right thing and you are going to make it all happen for your baby. Mom is the best advocate a child will ever have. Good luck and please keep us posted. I just don't understand my Ped whether he is on my team or not! somedays he seems all for trying to get Isaiah an appt as soon as possible but than I have to ride his back to remind him of what he told me he was going to do. For some reason his office got an authorization referral for treatment of Plagio to the Medical Genetics Dept at Children's Hosptial of Los Angeles...no good. I need a referral for the Nuerosurgery/Plastic Surgery department. Which is what the Director of the Medical Genetics dept suggested and of cousrse I told the Peds office this and she insisted that all plagio go through the med genetics URGH!! Finally today after talking to yet another office at Children's hosp that told me the same thing about the correct department for referral treatment of plagio the nurse at the Peds office will try and change the department ot the correct one. I hope it happens which I feel will then that means I get to keep my appt that I made on my own for next week Nov. 14 and will not have to wait for Dec. 27th. I know this probably sounds so confusing, but I'm so PO!! thanks for reading and letting me vent. Of course it's not the whole story, not enough time for that. I wish the medical community would get their heads out of their a***'s on treating and dealing with Plagio. It is really depressing when you think of all the kids who have not recieved treatment at all because of all the idiot dr.s out there! She immediatly figured this is plagio and ordered for CAT to rule our carnio. She also helped us get the band prescribed. (I say " we " , I mean " the doctors " ). We finally resorted to calling every single day until they got it right. Don't give up. Just keep bugging them.
