Guest guest
Well, I am going to post this, not to scare anyone but to help anyone in the future not to make the mistakes I did. For the last month I have been experiencing different symptoms that I had not had before, at first I thought I had developed acid reflux, and have been taking medicine for it, but to no avail my symptoms were getting worse. It would take me three hours to fall asleep because I was either burping or choking on my own salvia. It was very scary, I knew something was wrong but didn't know what it was, until today I went to see my fill doc and under fluro they could tell a portion of my lower stomach had come up into my pouch, and when I laid down at night, it made for extreme tightness which made for all the choking I was doing. Now take it this happened because I didn't listen, I had to tight of a fill, I puked a lot, and did the things Dr. Aceves tells us not to do, do not vomit. Do not let the toilet become your thrown, thrust me, I did it one to many times, and now my band has slipped, I immediately got my band completely unfilled and hope this helps the stomach go back into place, but one can only pray I haven't done to much damage. Everyone learn from my mistake, if the fill is to tight and you are pbing all the time, go get it unfilled. Thanks Nina for being there when I called and was crying, I will follow the band rules this day forward. Trace K.
