Guest guest
Here is a cute story .... I was in the Ped's office and I had told him I was concerned about the shape of my daughter's head. He began asking all the right questions such as did she favor one side, lack range of movement, how does she sleep etc. I said I though she had plagio, he said yes, it's mild and will round out on it's own and if not it will be covered by hair, etc. I had been searching the plagio site and had joined this list by then so I considered myself a lot more informed that I was months ago, so I countered with " I have research that indicates that is not necessarily always true. They don't always round out on their own and........ " He just looked and me and asked what I did for a living. I thought it was funny. I find doctors are always surprised to find out that we have our own opinions. : What is that supposed to mean when he asked you what you did for a living??? HAHAHA - I guess Drs are the only educated group of people out there in their minds!!! GOOD for you telling him you've done research,etc......I got a good chuckle out of that comment, I'm sure you were a little dumb founded! You're doing all the right things in getting your daughter help. It would be nice to get her a band by the 6mos time, but if you don't, don't worry, she'll still have good growth even after 6 mos.. Please keep us posted. I'm glad you're happy with our board! We're happy you found us Debbie Abby's mom 3/1/00 DOCGrad 6/22/01 MI
