The next morning, we met another new bandster Dawn (hope your trip home was comfortable) in the lobby of the hotel where we followed Ernesto over to the hospital. I met the other new bandsters (in addition to Dawn, there was Nani & - hi girls) & we had some time with Doc A where he gave us very detailed info of the band, how to work it & other useful info.I was taken into surgery about 11:00 that morning. I remember a little in the recovery room & then seeing my hubby & dad back in my room. The hospital staff was incredible. I was so freaked about the language barrier, but most of the staff speaks enough English & understand your basic needs, that it's

really not a problem.Anywho...the staff in the hospital & Doc A's people were wonderful! Yolanda worked with us yesterday (first day post-op) & of course, was very gracious. I have been in the hospital quite a bit in the States (unfortunately) & have NEVER had an experience as pleasurable as mine in Mexicali. (It would be nice if Doc could do something about the 110-degree tempt tho-ha ha!)I've had very little discomfort (mainly gas in my tummy) & the entire experience was outstanding. I would definitely do it again in a heart beat. It's such a relief to be on the 'losing side' at last.This group has been so outstanding & informative.
