Guest guest
Hi - I actually went to the doctor twice. The first time I the marks were really small, and I don't even know if he paid much attention. The next time (I saw a different Dr.) she just thought it was viral. It is getting worse, though and I may call again tomorrow. It starts out as a pink dot and then gets darker in color (more red) and bigger and even a little crusty. The dr. didn't think it was herpies or hand foot mouth. The marks are only on her face. It is really scary just not knowing. Hi: This summer Abby had a rash all over her back that looked like a bunch of little pimples. She had had a high fever a few days before the rash appeared, her ped. said it was a rash related to the fever she had and told me this was quite common. The rash was completely gone in about 2 days. But she had them all over her back, so I'm not sure if it's like your daughter's. Is the white mark on her lip a cold sore perhaps? If you're still concerned in the morning, then insist your ped. sees you tomorrow. Did you see the ped already or was this just on the phone? Guest guest
My son recently experienced this also. He had a fever of about 101.5 for two days and two days later he developed small little red marks all over. The Doc called it Rosea (sp?) and said that it appears 48 hours after a fever and it goes away on its own. Didn't have any white marks, but the Doc said it could have gotten worse but it didn't.
