Guest guest
Hi Greg, well hang in there because as everyone has told you sometimes your fill can take a bit to fully kick in. But I looked at the end of your email at your weight lost and you have lost " ALOT " of weight for when you had your surgery!!!!! like 57 lbs!! that is super great! You know for me the whole " feeling full " sensation has been so different from my pre banded full feeling. One of the only foods that gives my tummy that warm full and fullfilled feeling is warm mashed tators and gravy. Oh that is the best for giving your tummy that full feeling. But for me, other than a few foods like that my full feeling is so different. when I know I have started to reach the " to much " mark it is more of a discomfort of stuck in my throat feeling. and I try to even stop before that, because sometimes when you get the " stuck in your throat feeling " it is to late to turn back. So, all this to say being full after banding is such a different ball game. And so hard to gadge sometimes. I rememeber pre- banding I could sick down and chow and get that awesome " oh I am so full, couldnt eat another bite, lets sit back and chill feeling " . But it isnt the same sensation pre-band at all. I very rarely find alot of satisfaction in being a nice comfortable full. I watch comercials or t.v. shows and I see these people indulging in food with no restraints and I think " they just dont know how lucky they are " . But we cant have it both ways, because then we would never loose this darn weight. so for me it is a huge sacrifice with my " love " for food. But it has been one that is worth it!!! so, all this to say I hope you find yourself feeling fuller and able to eat way less! :-) But as far as weight loss goes, you are doing really great!!!! take care, hugs, dob 10/6/06 (342)322/278/160 > > I went in for my 2nd fill yesterday.
