Guest guest
Hi , Sorry you are having troubles:-( Being a Nurse in an assisted living and homecare... I know what you mean about them buggs! Betty ( my band buddy) and I both have battled heartburn & Reflux on & off since Sept 06'! Betty had an unfill which greatly reduced her reflux & heartburn. I, on the other-hand felt my heartburn & reflux where from loosening up (4 months after a fill it started & rising weight). I had a small fill, o.2cc. We both have had only a few flair- ups since November. I know this don't help much hu? I would say if you can drink in the late morning and eat fairly well later in the day then, try Gaviscon or Maalox-multi chewables to see if they help. At night, sleep on your sides with your head & shoulders elevated on pillows. Lying on your back even with your head elevated (like a recliner) can allow fluids to come-up and it will! Uukk!! If it doesn't ease up I would consider 0.1 or 0.2cc unfill for some Relief. The coughing,is it lingering bronchitis? OR does it feel like you have " aspirated " on you saliva? I had that happen a few times and it comes out of nowhere! My port get's sore from that coughing! I don't think that your band has slipped although it was probably traumatized with that virus! Honestly, it sounds like your a bit tight for the most part. You may loosen up on your own..if not consider a slight unfill:-) Let us know how you do ok?
