I remember your Oreo experience...glad I was never into Oreo's that

much!!! Gee, that seems so long ago when that happened but it was

all in this year! I can't believe everything that has changed in my

life in almost a year...I still have 25 days till I hit my 1 yr

Surgiversary...and I am hoping I can shed off the 15lbs to make it

an even 200lbs lost, but think I am wishing for too much! I am

amazed at all the photos of those of us that had the band done this

past year and all the changes, I mean my gosh...we are totally new

people!!!! I freak when I see my old photos, it's like who is this

person??? Anywho, for those who are confused about the eating, do

read this passage cause Jenni speaks for many of us, we've all had

our trials and errors with the band, it's a learning experience each

time you get a fill. I swear, I am not looking forward to getting my

next fill, cause that means I am back on liquids...and boy, do I

love eating regular food (protein, veggies and fruits). Anywho, it's

been a great year, and I hope we all have the same success if not

more this coming year.

the answer- I am in a position that I will be able to sit and walk

when I want to- I have time to rest during certain breaks and I

honestly am not quit at scared now that I have heard from some of

you guys.

> The eating thing has been confusing to be honest. So people say

they eat junk and it is okay others say you can't have one bit.

Others talk about " slimming " which I still don't understand- does

this happen even when you don't eat- I speak to large groups of

people for a living – is this something that could happen out of no

where and in the middle of a speech. HOLY COW?

> I am a bit nervous about the idea that your not filled when you

leave and therefore you can eat a large amount once you heal- or I

have heard that some never need a fill.

> I was told you can't feel the device and then people mention –

you will know you need a fill depending on how tight or loose it

feels?

and don't think any of this is discouraging because it isn't- I am

just curious about it all.

could have gone back b/4 then. If I would have had to go back in 2

days, I could have but would have just been very tired. Even though

I didn't go back to work right away, I have 2 kiddos - a teenager

and a 5 year old that keeps me hopping.

post op diet. When I went back to work, it was much harder. I have

a high stress job and used food as my comfort. That has been the

hardest habit to break.

liquid Tylenol even you aren't hurting the 1st few days. They

explained it is easier to manage the pain if you stay ahead of

it. :)

> The most amazing part is how different we all react to this

surgery so you'll hear from others with a totally different

experience. I've had a few surgeries b/4 this and by far this was

the easiest of all from which to recover.
