Niki,

OH MY GOD HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN? has been in Two wars (both

behind enemy lines) and he never saw anything this horrible.

To ans. your question Massachusetts has closed the financial district

in Boston sent home all non essential state personel. Mass is under

a heigtened state of security for all govt. bldgs. & has Barricaded

the USS Constitution as with all other historical sites. They have

not however as of yet shut down the scools.

As I am sure you know two of the planes (one is still unaccounted for

God please let the attacks be over) that were hijacked & went into

the WTC was from Boston (Logan) and our hearts are with all those

people and thier families as they are with all the unsuspecting

victims on the ground, in the air, and in the buildings. Please let

us know that you are ok if you are a member from NY, MA(New England),

PA & Washington.

Hi all-

I am here in Connecticut. I work at Yale University School of

Medicine and we're all just shocked. It is anticipated that NYC

hospitals will not be able to handle all of the injured and they may

come here to Yale New Haven Hospital. Schools are beginning to close

around the state. I know many, many people who work in NYC and I just

pray they are ok. I've not been able to get through to find out.

This is just horrifying beyond belief. Please take care of

yourselves, my prayers and thoughts are with anyone and everyone who

may be personally effected by this.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in your time of need. It is absolutely horrible! I cannot imagine what you in the US are going through. I do hope the situation resolves itself post haste and that no more attacks will follow any retaliation the US decides to do. I was woken early with a phone call by a friend saying" happy world war 3 day!" I thought he was joking until I got up and turned on the tv. Let's just say that I am horrified. I have family in Washington. and uncle who works in the Pentagon! I am hoping that he is ok.

This is the worst thing that could have ever happened. It takes a real coward to do something like this! I am shocked by the footage of the Palestines dancing and cheering in the streets! What kind of people cheer the death of 100's? This should not have happened!

Niki,

Seems as though you beat me to the punch. I too was wondering about

our East Coast friends. How are your family and friend? This is the

worst thing that has happened in our lifetime in fact the worst that

has happened in my dad's lifetime and probably close to the worst in

my grandparents time. I have been crying all morning. I keep

thinking oh my God that could have been my dad! He worked for the

pentagon a few years back. I have talked to him and he is pretty

sure that our govt. will retaliate and hard. I now have to worry

about my husband going to war. What would I do if they invest in a

draft and he gets taken from me. Thinking of moving to the mountains

because I know we here in Kansas City have shut down all of downtown

and even blocked off all roads leading into downtown. There are so

many lives affected by this that lots of prayers are being sent. I

know I thought Oklahoma was bad but nothing compaired to this. HOW

ARE YOU IN NEW YORK AND DC????!!!!!!! We all are affected by this

and lets pray for the victims of this terrible attack. How sad is it

that lives have to be lost over terrosim and hate? Whats worse is

more innocent lives are going to be lost when our govt. finds out who

is responsible and bombs back. What a bad day...i have been crying

all morning.
