Guest guest
Dear Dayu, From time to time, someone posts a question on this list asking if anyone knows how to contact Alan Handelsman, who is featured in some of Craig’s videotaped seminars. The following is part of an article I wrote for a health publication about energy healing. The editor deleted sections that he felt weren’t yet sufficiently supported by published scientific evidence, including the section describing Alan and his Resonance Tuner cards. Rather than let this material die on the cutting room floor, I asked Alan if we could post the information here. This will let those who are not familiar with his work learn about it, while those who have been wondering how to contact Alan will know how to do so. His email address is AlanHand@..., phone 480-945-6227, and he’s working on a website that he hopes will be running this fall or winter. Alan is a refreshing voice in EFT land, for he has an upbeat personality and a great sense of humor. Without further ado, here’s the story. ===== Resonance Tuning by CJ Puotinen, EFT-ADV (taptheworld@...) Some energy techniques use physical objects to facilitate healing, such as the Resonance Tuner Energy Grid. The size and shape of a credit card, this device was developed by Alan Handelsman, a professional musician. “Years ago,†he says, “I studied with Harold , a flute teacher in New York, and he could take any instrument and make it play better using a process that he called homogenization. After studying meridian therapies that use tapping, such as EFT, I worked with a beginning music student, an adult, who was a great guy but who sounded just awful. I did some tapping with him, and the difference in the sound that came out of his saxophone was exactly what I would have expected if my teacher had homogenized the instrument. I then knew that energy work and what my flute teacher did were the same thing.†Alan experimented and eventually developed a process that he considers close, if not identical, to ’s homogenization. While studying meridian therapies, he had been taught that various energy toxins prevent energy therapies from working well, but his experiments convinced him otherwise. “I learned,†he says, “that you can work with the source of the toxin. If someone can’t wear a favorite shirt because of sensitivity to a detergent residue or the fabric or the shirt itself, you can work with the shirt and make a change.†He then discovered that he could imprint the process, which he calls Resonance Tuning, into a medium, such as a card. “The advantage,†he says, “was that now I could distribute it. I wouldn’t have to go around tuning all these things for people, they could do it themselves by placing the card on or near whatever needed fixing. In other words, when you have the card and apply it, the process is being done.†To use the card, simply hold it an inch or so from each side of the object you’re working with for 30 seconds, or whatever length of time feels right. The card can be held with either side facing the object, and it can be placed directly on the object. Liquids can be treated in any container, such as a glass, bottle, jar, or can. Tuning can improve one’s relationship with foods such as wheat, corn, dairy products, or chocolate; jewelry, including watches, bracelets, rings, earrings, and necklaces; clothing such as wool, cotton, synthetic fabrics, etc.; as well as soaps, detergents, household products, perfumes, and anything else one might taste, touch, or smell. “The energy of appliances such as computers, televisions, radios, lamps, and the like have also been known to interfere with a person’s energy,†he says, “and all of these can be Resonance Tuned.†Any health condition might respond to a tuner card, and physical pain is a good example. Some users notice a sensation of tingling or heat when the card is held an inch from a painful area. It can also be placed directly on the area, held there for 30 seconds, and removed. For improved results, it can be held in place for a longer time, such as all day or overnight; it can be held closer to or farther away from the affected area; it can be flipped over so that both sides of the card treat the area; its direction can be changed from vertical to horizontal; and it can be slowly moved back and forth or in a circular motion. Conditions that have responded to this treatment, as reported by users, include sensitivities to foods and other substances, cuts, headaches, sprained ankles and other injuries from falls or accidents, insect bites and stings, emotional instability, and cravings. Pets and babies have been calmed and reassured, and old or sick pets may have more energy after being Tuned. One woman held a card in each hand while undergoing chemotherapy, and she suffered no adverse side effects. Another wore the Tuner card in her bra next to her heart and reported that she stopped feeling depressed, bitchy, and irritable, despite business problems, a broken love affair, the death of her father, and financial challenges. “I’ve been feeling great ever since,†she said, “ better than I’ve felt in six weeks. I never want to be without it – or maybe I should trust that I’m now tuned and set it aside until I need it again. Thank you and the universe for this particular deliverance from misery.†In addition, the Resonance Tuner has helped people meditate, improve their overall performance, and improve the effectiveness of whatever therapy they're undergoing. Alan describes the Tuner’s energy as kind, smiling, robust, gentle, and benevolent, and he guarantees each card’s effectiveness for two years. “ I think they’ll last forever,†he says with a grin, “but we haven’t had time to test that claim!†In addition to Resonance Tuner cards, he imprints placemats (so that every meal will be tuned), T-shirts (so that the person wearing one will be tuned), jewelry, and other objects. In addition, he recorded a CD of flute music into which he projected the tuner’s energy pattern so that the music itself performs his process. “The analogy I like best,†says Alan, “is that of a radio. Sometimes a radio works fine and the signal is perfect, but all you hear is static. What you need is an antenna to harmonize the relationship between the two. That’s what the tuner does.†The original tuner cards were printed on simple card stock. Now they’re printed in black on metallic gold. Alan is experimenting with new cards as well, and these works-in-progress are available in limited quantity. What is the card’s active ingredient? “One man got excited and wanted to know what I put in the middle of his card,†he says. “It had come apart in the washing machine, and now it worked better than ever. He was convinced that whatever was there between the two parts that were glued together must be something powerful.†I had a similar experience when my puppy was spayed and I tucked my tuner card under the mat she sleeps on, so it would be close to her abdomen. She made a quick recovery, but after two days, she discovered the card and chewed it up. Now we have Resonance Tuner confetti. Alan said maybe it will still work, so we collected the shreds and put them in a small plastic bag. He was right. Our card looks a lot different, but its energy is still there. That energy is very compatible with EFT and seems to improve the EFT process and speed its results. Alan charges $20 per Resonance Tuner card, $25 for the large size (8.5 x 11 inches), $30 each for the X-2 and Y-3 prototype models, $25 for his musical CD, and $35 for T-shirts. In addition, he can “tune†any item you send him, such as bed sheets, clothing, jewelry, etc. Resonance Tuner cards are available at wholesale in lots of 50. To order Resonance Tuner cards and related products and services, or to learn more about how to use Tuners, contact Alan Handelsman at AlanHand@... or 480-945-6227.
