Guest guest
Kellie, First let me say - HOW CUTE!!!!!! is a little doll!! As far as how he looks - I can detect some flatness and facial assymetry from the photos. Please keep in mind that we plagio moms can detect even slight flatness and assymetry from about a mile away! LOL!! I think a helmet will be very good for him and I think you will be happy that you went ahead and did it! Despite all that he is a gorgeous, healthy, happy looking baby boy. You must be so very, very proud of him. Thanks for sharing. Marci (Mom to ) Oklahoma
Guest guest
Hiya Kellie: Very cute baby, along with a pretty cool name (same as my hubby's!). I think will definitely benefit from a helmet/band (what's he getting?). He looks like a typical plagio baby, with ear assymetry and flatness. He also looks pretty young yet, so you should receive good & faster correction! Let us know how the casting goes, good luck with it! Debbie Abby's mom DOCgrad 6/22/01 MI > Hi everybody. Guest guest
Oh my goodness Kellie! What an adorable little boy, and he looks so happy too! I can see the flatness and some facial assymmetry, but I really think the helmet will help immensely with that. What kind of helmet/band are you getting? Good luck with the casting on Wednesday, let us know how it goes! Niki Kaylie & Danny (STAR grads) Phila., PA > Hi everybody. Guest guest
First off, Let me just say that is an ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL BABY BOY! Cute and soo smiley! You should be very proud! He looks very little still, so I think his treatment will go by very fast. He will be growing like a weed in the next few months. All those growth spurts will help his head shape itself in the helmet/band. Good luck with his casting. Try not to be to nervous. (easier said than done, I know!) Guest guest
a, Thanks so much for posting 's pictures. Could you give me some idea of what to expect when has his first brow suspension? Specifically how I would need to care for him and how long recovery might be. He already rubs and pokes his eyes now and I'm wondering if we would have to restrict his arms somehow after surgery so he doesn't hurt himself during recovery. Also I want to take time off my part-time job but I've used all my entitled time for maternity leave. I'd like to talk to my supervisor and let her know about how much more time I'd need off to care for after surgery. Thanks so much!! Guest guest
Dear Debbie I am Aedan's mom. He is 1 now and had surgery last August. His recovery was extremely simple. There was know need for any restraint. Though he was only a couple months old. The hardest part for me was when he was coming out of anethsesia and was screaming with what looked like wide open eyes. It quickly healed after we took him home. We applied salve to his stitches and lubricant to his eyes for nightime. That bothered me but I think it wasn't horrible for him and gave him some relief. I'll be thinking about you.
Guest guest
Thanks so much, and a. I feel much better getting an idea of what to expect, as well as the reassurance that the sling surgery isn't so bad. I'll be prepared for it to look worse than it is, and also to feel worse for baby than he might feel himself! We'll keep you posted... Debbie > Dear Debbie > I am Aedan's mom. Guest guest
Hi a I had been wondering how things where going for . And it was wonderful to see the latest pictures of him. He looks great! This is so encouraging to see. It is difficult to find pictures of people who have been operated on or are going through the operations. I had just posted some new pictures of Nina (with a pair of glasses) and deleted the older ones. Seeing the development of through the years made me change my mind. Will do the same, when we come home from vacation. Thanks a and Kirsty for posting the pictures! Wouldn't it be great if more people would post pictures? But perhaps only a 'members only' site would make this happen. Later, Bernice Excuse my English. -----Oorspronkelijk bericht----- Van: dubie_41 [mailto:dubie_41@...] Verzonden: maandag 9 juni 2003 15:12 Aan: blepharophimosis Onderwerp: blepharophimosis 's Pictures I have posted some pictures of as he ahs changed through the years.
