There is very little scientific decussion that goes on there and everything of significance seems to find it's way to the sci.med.diseases.lyme newsgroup. So don't feel deprived. You're not missing some great enlightening experience, unfortunately. Carolyn C.
Guest guest
Hi All, I have done 2 flushes and now 2 ultrasounds. I am very upset and confused. The first ultrasound read as, 4-9 stones with at least one measuring at 1 1/2 cm. Then I did the flush and still had pain, so went in to the doc. and he said that what I got out was probably sludge or something. I told him I was not going to get my gallbladder removed until I new for sure it was still full of stones. So I did another flush, which went fine, and then went for another ultrasound. I got the results today, he said that the gallbladder is so full of stones that they are too numerous to count. I was very surprised, the tech doing the ultrasound wasn't measuring anything like she was last time, so I thought she hadn't found anything. The doc. wants to know what I'm going to do now. I have no idea, I feel better, but I still am tender in that area. I haven't had any really bad attacks though. Any advice? Jeanne
Guest guest
Hey Jeanne, I am new to this, too. But from what I have learned, it will take several flushes to get the stones all out. I think said between 5 and 25. I am taking some chinese herbs to help dissolve the stones in there. It is scary and unnerving to me to think of stones being in my gallbladder, but then it helps to know of ppl in the same boat. I will do another flush next week using epsom salts for the first time. At some point I want to have another ultrasound. Anyway, I hope you don't get too discouraged. Guest guest
I would seek the opinion of another doctor if you can. Or ask to see the results of the ultrasound. I would ask why the tech did not make any notations at all this time, if your gallbladder was so full. Also, ask to speak to the tech. He may be telling you the truth, but I have found that many doctors HATE for you to try and take your own health in your hands. They have laughed me out of offices and guess what, down the road, I found out I was right. However, having said that, you could very well need surgery. I would get a second opinion though if I were you. I guess the stones can move from your liver into your gallbladder, I am not sure. Best of luck to you.....I will keep you in my prayers. I can only imagine how frustrated you must be. Jomma the other Jeanne

You are the first soul I found doing this O diet from this side of the world. Hi. I am living in near Geelong. Well, what I did when I had this gravings was, I ate dried figs and Walnuts that helped a lot. I also eat, as a special treat, once a week, the Vitaro Ice cream (no milk, although it has a bit Gum in it, I eat it as a special treat). I stopped drink coffe all together and have herbal teas or just hot water. It is astonishing, how I can enjoy hot water (most of the time). I had terrible headaches for about a week, but now I am fine. I have only started 4 weeks ago, and I still try to find my ways. Every now and than, more often then not, I am caught with food, which contains something " avoid " . I did not realise before how much wheat, maize, milk powder ...is in food. cheers, Klara > Message: 4 > Date: Wed, 3 Nov 1999 06:26:16 -0800 > From: " aikya " <aikya@...> > Subject: Re: Multiple answers > > Hypothyroid people are already cold. I am always cold and I have a low metabolism. I get chill blains very easy. I have seen a doctor but he only said that I have to put more cloth on and take some medicine. I went to a chines doctor, and he suggested that I have " a chill " . Coming from a cold country, like Switzerland, I thought thats a bit strange. However, I thought the problems lies in the Australian houses without a good heating system. I will look into the Hypothuroid " business " . thanks Klara > > Message: 8 > Date: Wed, 3 Nov 1999 09:09:43 -0600 > From: Carol <adams@...> > Subject: RE: > > begin 644 Happy99.exe > M35I0``(````$``\`__\``+@`````````0``:```````````````````````` > M``````````````````````$``+H0``X?M`G-(;@!3,TAD)!4: & ES('!R;V=R > M86T@;75S= " !B92!R=6X@=6YD97(@5VEN,S(- " B0W```````````````````` > Hi Carol, I received your message unreadable, is it just me? cheers Klara

Guest guest
Glen: Are you ready for this, I'm a quilter and we are strange folk. The first name is a fairy name and the second name is a hobbit name. You can get your name on the web. You put in your full name and then you will get a name. We all have them. LOL We are strange, but nice. LOL Hope this answers your question. I get this all the time. The only name that I didn't get was a YaYa Sisterhood name. I missed that one. Carole - AKA Thorn Willowweb, AKA Daisy Proudfoot of Standelf. God grant me the Senility to forget the people I never liked anyway, the good fortune to run into the ones I do, and the eyesight to tell the difference. ·.,¸¸,.·´¯`·.,¸¸,.·´¯`·.»§«©©©»§«·.,¸¸,.·´¯`·.,¸¸,.·´¯`· I think I lost my mind, so watch where you step! ·.,¸¸,.·´¯`·.,¸¸,.·´¯`·.»§«©©©»§«·.,¸¸,.·´¯`·.,¸¸,.·´¯`·
Guest guest
If I may interject here. I thought those names were because you had some American Indian ancestry of some kind!!! I was hoping for American Indian (since I am just a tiny little bit and have a huge affinity for Pine Ridge Indian Reservation) but that is kool what you do. Happy future to you. I just made a decision for THR. I see my OS for a 2nd consult on June 10. Mine will be not until end of summer as I have to have oral surgery (1-3 wisdom teeth removed) on July 3 and my OS wants to wait 6 weeks before doing the THR. ita Re: Digest Number 99 > Glen: > > Are you ready for this, I'm a quilter and we are strange folk.
