One year ( and one month!) Doing great!

Hi all...

Just wanted to share the great moment and add myself to the ever

growing -or should I say SHRINKING?- group of happy MGB success stories.

One year ago - Dec 8, 2005, I weighed 362 lbs..I had my surgery in

Vegas with Dr. Rutledge. It took 26 minutes, I was walking 2 hours

later...I will even confess I went to see Wayne Newton 2 days later!!!

It has been an amazing change of life for me. I have a 7 year old

daughter with whom I run and play with now. I feel amazing...I have

lost 127 lbs. Today I weigh 235..still not tiny by any means, but I

am in a size 12-14 shirt from a 3-4x that is INCREDIBLE!!! I never

got sick, I never threw up, I've had absolutely no complications. I

feel WONDERFUL. Thank you so much and continued success to you and

all who undergo MGB.
