I just spent the past weekend with my best friend,,,,,,,,,and we were

talking about my up coming surgery sometime this spring. She told me

about some of the best soup she had ever made. She cut some winter

veggies,,,,carrots taters yams squash stuff like that,,,,,,poured on a

VERY litle olive oil and mixed it well so all the veggies got

covered,,,,,,added salt and pepper and roasted the veggies in a 425

oven til they were all nice and brown and tender. Some she ate as

veggies casue they were sooo good but the rest she put in the blender

and pureed and added to some chicken stock <you can buy that in b box

now> she claims this was the best soup she ever had!!!! To me it sounds

like something I want to add after I am off of clear liquids.

Anyway just my 2 cents :>
