Okay, so I think I may have 2 words of advice, here they are...

1. Don't assume you will be the one shopping at the mall 2 days after

surgery. I give anyone that can kudos, because today is the first day I can

actually walk without dragging my feet.(Surgery was on Monday and today is

Friday) I

do feel pretty good today and am planning an outing to the nail salon on

Sunday, but that will be the first day out for me.(Besides walking up and down

the drive way)

2. Get your littermates phone numbers! If they are willing to give them,

take them. I didn't think about doing it but my litter mate Kim did and I am

soooooooo glad she did! It ended up the 3 of us all felt the same way on the

same days. It was an EXTREME comfort to know I wasn't having more pain, nausea,

trouble getting everything down than the rest of them. I don't think I saw

this advice offered before but I may have missed it.For me it has been sooooo

important! I can't stress it enough! (Thanks Kim!)

Hi !

Welcome home to the other side to you and your mates.

That is a beautiful piece of advise for all the pre-ops who ask for

last minute tips - I hope you'll post it OFTEN! I'm glad Friday was

better than Monday! Tj
