For New Subscribers: Useful info regarding

this newsletter.

Thought for the Day: " The

man who views the world at 50 the same as he did at 20 has wasted 30 years

of his life. " Muhammad Ali

Today's EFT Quote: " I

have used EFT on myself and family members for a variety of quick therapies

from shoulder pain to headaches, nausea, and so on. This method is

absolutely invaluable. " El March, PhD OM

Today's Helpful Hint: A

skilled EFT'er can revolutionize sales training. Most sales courses teach

the " how-to's " of prospecting, presentations, closing and so on.

Sales people spend wheelbarrows full of money on these courses and, alas,

typically enjoy only modest improvement from them. That is because they

still retain all the limiting beliefs about money, abundance and financial

success with which they started. This stuff is " written on their

mental walls " and serves to limit their performance and keep them

" where they belong. " All the how-to's in the world will not

release these mental brakes. EFT, however, has provided this type of

freedom many times.

An EFT Press Release you can use: Doctors Use

Acupressure Technique Instead of Drugs to Combat Emotional Eating

Fun Stuff from the Internet: " The Mom song " video,

sung to the Tell Overture, by Anita Renfroe. What a mom says in 24

hours, condensed into 2 minutes and 55 seconds! Hilarious and talented!

Tips from the EFT Website

What

to do when an agitated pet damages your home: This article by Colleen

Flanagan gives us pointers about tuning into animals and collapsing their

issues. Note that Colleen did much of her work surrogately.

Interesting

uses for tapping on the hand points: Sejual Shah from the UK gives us

many creative uses of tapping on the hand points. Note the particular

usefulness when introducing EFT to strangers.

Collapsing a major

dental fear--finding a core issue: Ask any dentist about the severity

of some people's dental fears and they will tell you many stories. Susi Ray

from South Australia was one such dental phobic and tells us how she

overcame the fear by herself with EFT.

Eight ways

to overcome barriers to success with EFT: Karin Witzig shares her

methods for getting the most out of EFT. She addresses some common

barriers, both within herself and her clients, to putting this powerful

tool into regular practice. Many good ideas here.

Resolving

several aspects of grief over the death of a beloved pet: Note how Dawn

Murray from Canada recognizes the many pieces to her client's grief and how

she handles them as they show up. Also note the " side benefit "

that occurs at the end.

Using EFT

with a rebellious teen: Kim Eisen exhibits first class rapport skills

with her rebellious client and applies EFT to the real reasons for the

rebellion. She says, " In

15 short years she had accumulated so much distress and worked harder and

harder to become perfect for them [her parents], that she finally broke down

and her only apparent choice was rebellion, beyond what we might call the

'normal' teenage rebellion. When I brought her out of my office, she

actually was kind to her mother and just wanted to go home and sleep. Her

mother told me later that on the way home, she just talked about how cool

it was and she wanted to come back. And, she will. "

Trigeminal

Neuralgia - perhaps the worst pain known to medical science - disappears

after addressing core issues with EFT: Those who doubt that unresolved

negative emotions show up as physical symptoms should immerse themselves in

this fascinating article by Hines from the UK. Note how she uses

EFT for routine pain management but, in the face of current intense

emotions, her pain was so intense that she had to search for core issues.

Once found, of course, the pain disappears. Stories like these appear

frequently on our website. You are encouraged to print them out, create a

book from them and give them to your physician(s).

A

craving for chocolate and the true reason behind it: Addictive cravings

sometimes represent a crying out for love. You can usually identify such

cases when a few rounds of EFT directed at cravings has only minimal

impact. That's because there's a bigger emotional need that drives the

cravings. This article by e Rother from Germany illustrates this

beautifully. Note how she weaves in SPECIFIC EVENTS in the latter part of

the session with her client.

EFT

for back strain: Sejual Shah gives us a straightforward use of EFT for

a friend's back strain. It's important to recognize that this type of

relief is not limited to back strains. It applies to just about any strain

(or pain) you can name.
