Guest guest
Hello , Let me know how all of your appointments goes. I would like to hear it too! If your cochlear implant is the busiest center, then insurance approval might take a little longer. If your CI center is not that busy, insurance approval won't take that long. And it's also depend how fast these people work because you know how office people are.. sometime they're so lazy and don't really do any works. ehehehe.. Maybe your surgery might scheduled in October or November, but maybe it might scheduled earlier than you expect.. you'll never know! I wrote about AB's batteries information and I just post it.. the subject is RE: Advaned Bionics but I'm sure you know all about it. Okie, enjoy !! > Hi Tina, > > No, I don't have a surgery date as of yet. I have an appointment on the 31st > for a CT scan and a meeting with the surgeon. Guest guest
Hello Di, I'm hoping that I'll be surprised with an earlier than expected surgery date. <crossing fingers> I may even talk to my CI audi and ask about getting a representative/case worker from my insurance company (Medicaid) who can work on my behalf. I'm sure that will make things so much easier in that I won't have to worry about " invisible people behind a desk " working on their own time schedule. <grin> As usual, I'll continue to keep you and the list updated on my progress. Guest guest
, Actually it was quicker for my sister to get approval from Medicaid than it was for me to get approval from my husbands insurance company, so anything's possible. We did get a surgery date when we met with our surgeon, but ours is a very busy center so the date they gave us was somewhat in the distance and plenty of time for all insurance approval to clear. I know it's getting hard to wait..LOl but hand in there.. It'll get here soon. Guest guest
Hi , Do you know (approximately) how long it took for your sister to be approved by Medicaid? Yes, waiting is hard -- LOL -- but at least I'm no longer waiting in limbo. <smile> I know everything will happen at the right time...I'm just glad I didn't give up too soon.
