Hi Everyone,

I want to alert you that the January 2005 issue of Psychotherapy Networker

will carry an article I've written that introduces energy psychology to

psychotherapists and addresses some of the credibility issues. It took me

two years of back and forth to get them to publish it. It wound up as the

feature for their " Case Studies " section, but they let me put in a great

deal of other information beyond the four case studies. The presentation

is critiqued by Jay Efran, and then there is an " Author Response. "

I know we are always looking for ways to bring more credibility to the

field with our colleagues, and I hope this piece can be another

resource. I unfortunately did not like the editorial changes and title

change that were made at the last minute and without my approval. So I

have posted the version I wish they would have published and noted that " A

revised and condensed version of this article appeared in the January 2005

edition of Psychotherapy Networker. "

You can download the preferred version from

http://www.innersource.net/energy_psych/ep_article_intro-to-ep_phobia.htm#pr

n

Please feel free to pass this along to colleagues and skeptics. This is

the only list to which I am posting this info, and I hope you will forward

this message to other Energy Therapy lists.

One other development that is a cliff-hanger is that the American

Psychological Association's online review of books is going to do a review

of Energy Psychology Interactive. I understand that it will appear in

February. If it is good, I will let you know. If it is as crushing as it

may be, I will go into hiding.

So far, however, we have enjoyed glowing reviews, including from some

prestigious publications. See

http://www.innersource.net/energy_psych/epi_reviews_published.htm. But APA

is a whole different animal.

Happy New Year to all!
