Altho Leprechauns and us have nothing in commmon, the following did make me

think.

~grady

The article that got me going:

The most famous little man in Irish mythology:

http://hubpages.com/hub/Irish-mythology-Leprechauns

Then from there to here, which is opening up this month in Ireland:

http://www.leprechaunmuseum.ie/

BUT, it will be 10 years, a decade, since our most famous lp has died,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/_Barty

this coming December 2010, along with many (if not all) of the original charter

members of our national group,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_People_of_America

that started with less than 30 people to a group of over 6,000, I believe. A

group whose influence and innovaton has been and is felt the world over to this

day, causing other countries to follow and do what we did initially and on our

own in 1957:

I know a few may look at the above news reel as something they would like to

truly forgot as we no longer used or want to be known by the *M* word... but

hey, many other groups, in fact, nations, did not start out perfectly too, but

they evolved into bigger and better ones as they matured and so have we:).

PS-I know I am not alone in thinking this:).
