Guest guest
TJ, My dear friend! You are so funny, you must know I thought of you as I typed the fact that I feel my success is attributed to following the manual as closely as possible! LOL and here you are! I was going to make a comment to the fact that there are some people who have not had this much success and changes had to be made for that individual patient with the help and guidance of CLOS. The reasons why I did not add that comment is one, I was hoping you would chime in there since you have had this experience yourself and two, I know you did everything in your power to follow the manual and it did not work for you. I am so glad to see that the changes you made are working for you now and you have finally broke the 50 lb mark! Hurray! As you can see by the post on my bloodwork, my protein number is a hair low, so I am struggling to get enough protein in and I never thought I'd say this but, you can only eat so much food in one day! Holy crow, I started drinking two protein drinks a day and am having my bloodwork done again January 12th. And your point about reading retention is well taken. I am spoiled and have never had a problem with reading retention, I read something once and it usually sticks in my brain somewhere. Sometimes I have trouble figuring out where I stuck it but its there somewhere! My husband on the other hand is a math whizz with no reading retention! He would never be able to have the MGB just because of the reading alone. He just wouldn't do it, he hates it that much. Very hard for this book worm to understand! So to all of you out there with reading retention problems I apologize! And to all of those cheating yourselves out of valuable education pertaining to your surgery, shame on you, read your manual! God Bless and God Speed in Fla
