Guest guest
> Hello RN: Here is another way to explain it: The words we use are symbols for experiences and concepts: brain imaging technology (specifically positron emission tomography or PET) has shown that the same part of the brain that " lights up " when someone is shown an item also lights up (but usually to a slightly lesser degree) when he/she thinks of the item or says the word for the item. The mindbody emotional or trauma response that is activated by exposure to a thing, person or situation is also activated to a somewhat lesser degree by imagining it or verbalizing it. This mindbody response is apparently (again, we don't " know " this for sure yet) encoded as a pattern of " stuck " or imbalanced energy flows in the meridian system. Tapping is like flushing out the system. Belief or faith doesn't enter into it. Hope this adds another perspective and more food for thought. Blessings, Alfred
