Two things come to mind; if you can get a hold of some Willard Water and keep spraying it on (or soaking the hand in it, chilled), get some high quality Lavender oil (Young Living, if possible) and anoint her hand with that--it's burn pain relieving qualities are amazing. Another possibility might be the DMSO we've been talking so much about lately. Wishing your daughter a speedy healing! Sharon
Guest guest
Edith, If you have fresh aloe, cut the skin off one side of a large leaf & apply as a poultice. And, get some vitamin E oil and apply to burn area. Vitamin E allows cells to work with 20% of the oxygen they would need without it. This will help the injured cells to heal. Also, take the E internally. Lots. I would also soak the fingers for 20-30 minutes in dilute peroxide. I burned my fingertips on the woodstove one day and didn't have anything else handy. So, I put my fingers in 3% peroxide, and in 10 minutes or so the pain was gone. I don't remember thinking about that burn again. It never blistered. Sharon's suggestions were good also. Lavender oil is very burn soothing. jim ----- carpe diem, carpe pecunia, carpe femina. -- Jim Lambert jlambert@... http://www.entrance.to/madscience http://www.entrance.to/poetry

It still hurts an hour later. EFT on the pain and the emotions had little effect. Any tips?
