Guest guest
Hi everyone, I am kind of new to this group, I'm sure I joined last year but couldn't find my details so I rejoined. I had a RNY with Dr Aceves on Oct 23rd, 2006. It has been very successful, too successful. I was a failed bandster (in Canada), my band was taken out June 2006 because of slippage and other problems. In three months after that I put on 30lbs - totally out of control. I sought out Dr Aceves for a revision to the RNY. My history is that in 2001 I was 247lbs, Oct 07 I was 186lbs now I am 117lbs!! At 65 " I should be around 125. I have lost all interest in eating and cannot eat more than a couple of spoonfuls of a meal - except mashed potato. I clean the house and my weight drops another 1.5lbs and I can't get it back. I am concerned I have a stricture or scar-tissue build-up around the incision areas of my intestines. Does anyone out there have my problem! Gillian
