When you say 'all it takes is the time and effort to teach your fingers to talk to you' -- is there anything in particular you must do to do this?? Many thanks.... Guest guest
Carly I really don't know the answer to your question. Someone else on the list gave some instructions a few months back for teaching your body to give certain reactions for yes/no. Basically they were saying that you tell your body that this is the reaction you want several times, slowly. Tell your body that it's safe to talk to you this way, that you will listen, you are giving it a voice, etc. Then you start saying things to your fingers like " My name is Carly " , My name is Joe Bloggs " , " I am female " , I am male " , " I have two lovely little girls " etc, and in this case, making sure that your fingers respond correctly, up for yes, down for no. This other person suggested doing this several times, over several days until your muscles get the hang of it. Over time, your fingers will also give you other reactions when there isn't a clear cut yes/no. Mine tend to go sideways when they need more info, or the answer isn't yes/no, and when the answer is " yes and no, depends " , they either go up and down, or sideways. Whenever they go sideways, I usually have to ask a lot more questions to clarify what they are trying to tell me. See how you go .... Email me directly if you wish for specific help.
