Guest guest
Hi there, Has anyone (in the UK) read the article by 'The Food Police' in Take A Break's magazine (28/10/04)? Entitled 'Fluid for Thought' it states that 'All fluids count - so that includes drinks like tea, juice and milk' ... if you'd like to know more about this 'drinking water issue', then please do send me a personal email and I'll get the information to you! Guest guest
How ridiculous what research have they done for those findings dawn Hi Dawn, Thanks for this information. No it isn't in relation to the flouride debate although I am aware of it and it's harmful effects. I'm against flouride myself and don't buy any toothpaste with it in - nor drink any water that's had it put in. I'm highlighting the fact that the Consumer Association stated recently that fluids (tea, coffee, juices and milk) are just as good as substitutes for water ... and there is so much research around to tell us otherwise. Will be putting more information out on it soon. Be happy to chat further with you on the flouride debate! Kaye
Guest guest
It stands to reason that all fluids count, but that pure water is probably the best since we are made of alot of water. But I never believed that my coffee and my tea didn't count, it's flavored water no matter what they say. It's just that the caffeine makes it so that you should drink more water, LOL. The more artificial additives there are in a drink the more fuild the body needs in order to flush them out. Therefore some drinks, like coke, actually dehydrate a person. Did you ever notice that the more addictive something is the more expensive? Hugs, Nels
