Guest guest Posted June 24, 2004 Report Share Posted June 24, 2004 before getting my second CI i did have to have the balance test this is the one they pour warm water in your ear and watch all the while hooked up to some sort of machine i didn't respond with warm water or cold water so they poured ice water in ..... it wasn't fun after getting a response they said ok .. that's all i got up very drunk like and went to the restroom and threw up i'm told i have very little balance why they did this??? doc said to check my balance before bilateral susan Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest guest Posted June 24, 2004 Report Share Posted June 24, 2004 Hi Pam The balance test was done by a technition..the tests are nolonger done at the clinic where i was implanted..I don't know about other clinics.Maybe they found out that the tests weren " t necessary???'
