Guest guest
Welcome you have come to the right place! I hope we can help you see the light about vaccines. All the best, " Parents should decide through informed choice, which vaccines if any should be given to their children " Vaccine Information
Guest guest
My advice is not to supplement, just to nurse, nurse, nurse. The best way to build up milk supply is demand. The more the baby nurses, the more milk you make. I know with my baby, his first few weeks he would nurse for 2 hours solid, then give me an hour break and go at it again. By the time he was 2 months old, he'd finally got to where he'd gulp all my milk out in less than 10 minutes, then nurse for comfort for another 10 minutes. I then nursed him for a good 22 months. BTW, welcome to the list! You'll get lots of info here. Guest guest
Let us know if you want some links about increasing your supply. Simply title your post with an " OT " so those not nursing can skip, but I am SURE you will get a lot of help! > sorry it's taken so long to introduce myself....it's been super busy > with a baby who is still not gaining well or feeding well and at 12 > wks old i'm still struggling with breastfeeding ...mostly milk > supply issue at this point. > > anyway... > > i'll have to find time to investigation the pros and cons of > vaccinations soon cause she's getting close to the age where > " they " will be wanting me to bring her in. > > gotta go feed/supplement/pump ugh, poor baby leigha is crying. > > bb > beedjay > mom to 5yr old rhiannon and 12wkold leigha
Guest guest
I had my c.i. 3 months ago. I was also very nervous before operation. Almost didn't go through with it, but was desperate to hear.I relied nearly totally on lip-reading. Came through surgery with no problems. Since switch on 2 months ago I am hearing so many sounds I never heard before. This week I'm starting to hear speech. I was born profoundly deaf in England, but now I live in Israel. I am 36, divorced with 1 hearing son aged nearly eight. I would like to exchange experiences with anyone who has a similar story. Please write: lisa_dadon@... Guest guest
HI Ginny! Welcome to the group. I’m sorry to hear about your mom. I lost my dad to an operable brain anurism that caused him to have a stroke about 12 years ago, I was only 17 at the time. Welcome, and if ya need to talk, I’m here. I joined this group because I deal with the after effects of the meningitis I contracted almost 5 years ago, plus my husband has Post traumatic stress disorder from going to the war in 2003. Please feel free to say hello. Have a blessed day,
