Guest guest
Thanks, Sam, for showing them. Are there different types of incisions available for CI implantation? I remember reading somewhere there was a modified Japanese-name incision that isn't as noticeable as traditional incisions -- name escapes me -- anyone know? Could the patient pick whatever type of incision or is that left to the surgeon to do? , approved and awaiting surgery 10/20 (yes!) The different types of incisions wasn't discussed with me. I just wanted to know how big of an incision. My feeling is that the surgeon pretty much decides on it. Although I'm sure you can address it. Regards, Sam
Guest guest
Hi Alice, > We have quite a few good pictures there and if you are waiting for > surgery, don't let the pictures bother you. It looks worse than it > really is - right Sam? Yes, that's true. However, I did have a concern about the size of my incision so I discussed that with my doctors before I proceeded with my surgery. Guest guest
Rima, Awesome pictures. You have done magnificently. You were beautiful at 215 and now are just more lovely. Has the weight loss helped your singing? My cousin is a bass singer with an enormous God given talent and when he lost 100 pounds suddenly his voice was even stronger and he had better control. He says he has been blessed a second time. You are an inspiration. Charlie 405/300/200 Glen Rose, TX
Guest guest
Wow, you really look great!! I'm concerned about your reflux - *NO* reflux is the only safe reflux! Have you discussed it with your band doc? ANY reflux is very damaging to the tissues around the band, and can lead to slippage and erosion, and losing the band altogether. Tell us more, and let's see if we can STOP the reflux. If you want your band to last forever, you really need to take very good care of it. Guest guest
Sorry, everyone, I cannot send the link that will work to you all. I was not even thinking that sending a link to a different breathing site would be a problem but it is. I never meant to go against LL in any way. If I can ever get time I will try to send some pictures to Rashelle instead. Sorry, again, about the links that will not work.
