Guest guest
Hi Arzu and all, I am also new member and trying to resolve deeply rooted issues. I have made lots of reading on emotional release methods and also on the works of Shepherd. I am new to EFT but it has helped me enormously to initiate emotional releasing.I start tapping when I feel an emotional arousal on any subject. While tapping emotions start to raise onto the surface. I let myself to completely experience the emotions.I start crying, express my anger if it is an anger, etc. During this release process,at some point I start associating this specific event with my childhood traumas.I continue releasing. This goes on like that until I calm down and feel that some important issues have been released.I also start having strong yawnings somewhere in the process.I have written this to be an inspiration to Arzu and also would like to ask to more experienced members if anything is wrong with this process? Is there any other way to remember and release important traumas in life. Arzu, You might be interested in reding works of Shepherd also you might wish to make a search at web for " emotional releasing " , " trauma releasing " ,etc.. www.trans4mind.com Thank you very much in advance. Happy new year to all.. Nil [Tap 'n B Free] new member Hi, I am Arzu from Turkey I heard EFT from an online group 1.5 years ago. EFT sometimes worked for me, sometimes not. With phobias it was very successful, but I could'nt get the same results with anxiety issues. My question is does anyone have any suggestions for unremembered childhood traumas? I relive the feelings and symptoms but because I cannot remember any scenes, I cannot be specific. And the emotions are so intense that EFT is not helpful to relieve them. Thank you in advance
Guest guest
Dear Nil, Welcome to the group - it's great to have new members from all over the world! > Hi Arzu and all, > > I am also new member and trying to resolve deeply rooted > issues..... >.... I let myself to completely experience the emotions.I start >crying, express my anger if it is an anger, etc. .... This goes on like >that until I calm down and feel that some important issues have been >released.I also start having strong yawnings somewhere in the >process. >....anything is wrong with this process? In my experience with myself and with clients each person releases in a slightly different way. Some people go very slowly and without deeply getting onto any emotion too much - becasue they find it difficult or frightening to feel emotions too deeply - so they go slower and in a more controlled way. Some people are more willing to feel their emotions deeply and are more expressive of their sadness or their anger during the releasing. Each person has their own threshold for this and there is no right or wrong about it. What matters (I think) is how the person feels at the end. Do they feel calm and with zero intensity about the issue? If you get to this point and in a way that feels OK to you, then I think there is nothing wrong with the process. As says, EFT is a content-free technique - all the content is supplied by the client - and that includes their preferences for how they express their emotions, how deep they want to feel, and so on. It sound to me as though you are doing perfectly and getting good releases. So long as YOU are happy with the process and the results you can't be wrong. Many thanks for posting your experience. ________________________________________________________________ L.R.
