Guest guest Posted February 13, 2004 Report Share Posted February 13, 2004 Lee most libraries have Audio Books these used to be books for the blind but so many people use them ... driving and listening to a good book is said to be great i worked with kiddie books at first just to learn to hear words i would read the book once or twice and pretty much knew what it said and then listen to the CD over and over and over again not for the story but to learn to hear words susan Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

One suggestion would be to find a book you like and record it a bit at a time onto blank tapes. Tedious I know, but it'd sure give you the materials you want. If your reading voice isn't what you want to hear then maybe have a friend or family member do this if they would do it for you. Play and follow along whenever you want. Other than that, I don't have any real good suggestions. That one just now hit me so thought I'd toss it out to you.
