I have been hearing " one way " for 46 years and now it totally different to me.. the joy of re-learning how hearing works and I am clueless. Guest guest
Hmm, Then fireworks for one year is not perfect for you. :-) I guess that is why your dog acted odd while he was telling you, " Lee, Don't do that, because you will become deaf for a while, even with your CI ON!! " LoL loud sounds - can't hear I wrote to my audie about why I couldn't " hear as well " after watching the firework show.... he wrote back..... " good to hear that the first works were such a big hit with your CI on. As far as " not hearing as well " this is not uncommon. Whenever a person is listening to very loud sounds for an extended period of time, they need a bit of time to readjust to softer, more subtle sounds (speech). " I guess it is good to know that I wasn't crazy..... Lee
