Sharon,

As human beings, we were not designed to be loners. But sadly,

there are many many deserted islands drifitng among us. Especially in

apartment complexes where hardly anyone cares to be social.

Now you need to get in the habit of " never leaving home without

your American Express Battery Card " . Tsk tsk tsk. I too will do the

switch off and on. The other day the batteries went dead as I was

coming home on the bus. I dont change them until I am someplace where

I can do it easily, dont need to drop a battery I cannot find again.

So I am off til I reach the street crossing then flip on, hope it

stays on til I reach the other side. LOL

I have a wonderful idea for you--about 2 little pockets for gimlet's

harness one for dead batteries and one for good batteries. that way you dont

lose them while changing them. :-) and that way you dont stay dead.

Snoopy,

Its the changing of the batteries out somewhere I cannot sit down

and do it. I did this when riding light rail, I left the stop then

turned around and went back so I could sit down and change the

batteries. I knew I had a bit of a walk before I could do it so that

was the best time. Its great tho, I go about 4 days and when they go

dead, usually its not at an inconvenient time.

No matter what happens, somebody will find a way to take it too

seriously.
