I have many friends who have the Clarion device.In the latest release it says that the recall only effects the devices not yet implanted.But it goes on to say that some devices were made nonfunctional by moisure.Were these devices already implanted and if so will the recipients be reimplanted?Could the problem with moisture show up say 6mo. to a yr. after a patient receives their implant or will the symtoms be evident on the day of activation?
