This is the case synopsis as described by his ENT surgeon: " Clinical Details.10 year old boy. Intermittent offensive discharge bilateral ears for many years. Worst on the right. Audiometry: bilateral conductive hearing losses: moderate-severe on the right. Mild on the left.

Examination: Right attic retraction pocket with squamous debris - cholesteatoma.Left: apparently normal tympanic membrane.Surgery was performed on the right (worse hearing) ear: Operative findings: Extensive choleseatoma sac involving the entire epitympanum, postero-superior mesotympanum and mastoid air cell system (automastoidectomy). There was surprisingly little squamous debris within this sac. Extensive ossicular destruction with destruction of: Stapes superstructure, long and short processes of the incus. Small remnant of body of incus remained. Modified radical mastoidectomy was performed. "

We are 6 days post op today. Quinn is healing well but still has a lot of seapage out of his ear. It is becoming milky and lumpy now which seems a bit concerning...? We have a post-op follow-up appointment this afternoon. 2x pics attached.
