LP is in restored Silent Era Movie:

As part of its Warner Bros. Archive Collection, the studio is making available

both versions of this classic crime drama starring Lon Chaney, " The Man of a

Thousand Faces. "

These two releases offer the original silent version of the movie, which deals

with a ventriloquist, a strong man and a little person, who unite to commit

various robberies.

Chaney remade the movie five years later as his first and -- unfortunately --

only talkie. He died a few weeks after the film was released.

The silent version was the first of seven collaborations between Chaney and

director Tod Browning, who went on to direct " Dracula, " in which he had slated

Chaney to star.

Both movies feature very strong digital transfers.
