Guest guest
Jerome you have asked endless questions and continue to do so you have said many times you don't like where you are at in life you look to a device to make your life be it a HA or CI you want the instant magical fix and it isn't gonna happen a HA won't be perfect and a CI sure as hell isn't normal hearing it seems you tried HA's yet you never committed to using one for any length of time to see for fact if this or that HA will help you have said it costs money for a 30 day trail yet getting a CI sure isn't cheap it sounds like money isn't the issue but it's used an another excuse to take responsibility to do as your doctor and audies have suggested and commit to wearing a HA for a trail you seemed to have an endless list of " reasons " why you don't want a HA and you don't want a CI or you do want a HA or a CI these " reasons " are not real .. they are excuses you use them to not take responsibility in following through you use them to find " reasons " why getting a CI may not be a good idea (linda for example when even linda has said she is happy she got her CI) you look and search to find " reasons " for not going ahead with either HA or CI stop looking robert said a CI isn't a gamble but i think it is .... to an extent some people get almost perfect hearing while others never get that close some have all sorts of reaction to the implant while others it's clear sailing some can use the phone without any problems while others can't use it at all people know all this going in yet again and again many people are implanted daily they want this CI more than not they have made a decision and took the responsibility to follow through nothing and no one would stand in their way if it took fighting insurance companies or getting married then this is what was done to get their CI you're not there now simple as that susan
Guest guest
rick i was talking about other members on this forum who have had a hard time fighting their insurance companies to approve a CI also i remember cherry all set for his CI and then it all fell through so the two flew off to vegas i think and got married so he could get this CI i mean this was way out there .... tons of love too ... but getting a CI was something they were going to get one way or another my point is when you have done the research, talked to docs and audies, looked inside yourself and made the decision to get a CI then nothing will stop ya but it take being responsible ... it takes courage ... it takes guts to do it susan

You said " if it took fighting insurance companies or getting married then this is what was done to get their CI. " Whups, did I miss my boat?!? (looking to see who had asked me while I was not paying atention...serves me right for not having my CI turned on.) LOLOL *---* *---* *---* *---* *---* In 1911 The first art contest was held.
