Guest guest
Oh, OK, here is the original, I was reading backwards... well if she is this young then I would doubt polycystic ovarys, has she had any urinary problems with frequency or anything? My son has urinary frequency (20-50 times per day) though only does it a few drops at a time. They are looking for an auto immune as they suspect swelling or a rash in the urinary tract. The first thing that they ruled out was kidney probs, sometimes this can cause blood in the urine, though I believe that the urine is often very dark and strong smelling with a kidney problem. Blood in the urine can be a urinary tract infection, cleared with antibiotics. An aquaintance of mine that I was talking to today about my sons probs, was saying that her child suffered from urinary reflux, that the urine was flowing back up through the tubes, thus causing constant infections. I take it they have done a urine culture to rule out urinary tract infection? Just some thoughts love :-) > about three weeks ago saedi[5] had her tonsils and adnoids out as the > adnoids had become so enlarged that she could not breath through her nose > anymore her jaw was realigning itself to try and help her breath, she also > had tubes put in her ears. Guest guest
Hi Helen, "Sinse the blood and protein were found in the urine and all other blood work came back fine the dr. has ordered a new set of blood work to be done sinse now she nows what she is looking for! Wish she let me in on it" Yeah - my immunologist didn't tell me what he was looking for either. Kind of makes you think they don't know what they are doing doesn't it. At least you know that she is onto something now, so hopefully soon you will have some answers. Alot of nephralgic tests (kidney related) take a while to do so waiting along time for results is horrid but normal *groan* How are you doing? Guest guest
Michele, I am behind on emails this week. I ran across this one and find it hard to believe that you have an 18 year old! You don't look nearly old enough to own anything that it 18 years old much less have a child that it that old!!! Margaret
Guest guest
Well thanks Margaret!!! I'm about a month shy of turning 36 (on Jan. 2nd)!! When we were in Vegas, Lynn & Donna thought I was in my early to mid 20's - very flattering to hear that! Yep - I'm a young mom, had Trisha just before I turned 18 (long story!) It's funny, when I was in my late teens, everyone thought I was older than a teenager and now that I'm in my mid 30's, most people think I'm in my 20's! I think I like that!! ) Hope you had a great weekend -I've been in St. Louis and got back late Sunday night and didn't get online.
