Guest guest
It's great stuff!! I love it! Remember though that you could do the same thing yourself--just take your appropriate amount of whey, 1/2c of oats or so, put them in a small tupperware and add water when ready. Either way, great meal!
Guest guest
I never thought of that! Making it yourself is a great idea!!!!!!! Will adding water to the protein and the oats make it thick or will it be soupy? > It's great stuff!! I love it! Guest guest
well you'll have to play around with the amount of water to get the consistency you want--it will depend on the protein powder you have. I use designer whey and have found that just a 1/4c water will do it.

Guest guest
I use the regular powder & mix it w/ water. No reason to use milk. I like the vanilla w/ water - frozen fruit & a yogurt all blended. Or the chocolate w/ water, peanut butter & vanilla yogurt. These have been a staple for breakfast for me for the last month or so. Muscle Milk Do those of you who use the Muscle Milk use the regular or lite version? Is there a need to worry about the calorie content of the regular? Guest guest
I'm about 3 months post-op and one of my biggest challenges is getting enough protein. I haven't been fond of the protein powders I've tried and I'm not a big fan of chocolate drinks. But I had forgotten about a tub of Muscle Milk (chocolate) that I had bought before my mgb and decided to give it a try yesterday. Boy was I surprised! It tasted really good without any of that " protein " taste. I just used a scoop in about 6 oz of water with about a half cup of ice and half a tub of strawberry yogurt, turned on my " Magic Bullet " and had a great tasting, satisfying drink. Then I just sipped on it over the next half hour or so and really enjoyed it. I think I'll have this for " breakfast " most days. Today I'm going to add some frozen raspberries. Just thought I'd share this in case anyone else out there could use the tip. Have a blessed day!
