It's great stuff!! I love it! Remember though that you could do the

same thing yourself--just take your appropriate amount of whey, 1/2c

of oats or so, put them in a small tupperware and add water when

ready. Either way, great meal!

I never thought of that! Making it yourself is a great idea!!!!!!!

Will adding water to the protein and the oats make it thick or will it

be soupy?

well you'll have to play around with the amount of water to get the

consistency you want--it will depend on the protein powder you have. I

use designer whey and have found that just a 1/4c water will do it.

I use the regular powder & mix it w/ water. No reason to use milk. I like the

vanilla w/ water - frozen fruit & a yogurt all blended. Or the chocolate w/

water, peanut butter & vanilla yogurt.

These have been a staple for breakfast for me for the last month or so.

Yum!

Muscle Milk

Do those of you who use the Muscle Milk use the regular or lite

version? Is there a need to worry about the calorie content of the

regular? Especially if it is mixed with low-fat or skim milk?

I'm about 3 months post-op and one of my biggest challenges is

getting enough protein. I haven't been fond of the protein powders

I've tried and I'm not a big fan of chocolate drinks. But I had

forgotten about a tub of Muscle Milk (chocolate) that I had bought

before my mgb and decided to give it a try yesterday.

Boy was I surprised! It tasted really good without any of

that " protein " taste. I just used a scoop in about 6 oz of water

with about a half cup of ice and half a tub of strawberry yogurt,

turned on my " Magic Bullet " and had a great tasting, satisfying

drink. Then I just sipped on it over the next half hour or so and

really enjoyed it.

I think I'll have this for " breakfast " most days. Today I'm going to

add some frozen raspberries. Just thought I'd share this in case

anyone else out there could use the tip.

Have a blessed day!
