Her 3rd fill 11-20-06 was very traumatic, an hour of attempts to reach the port to no avail...then fluroscopy to finally get her to 3.5cc !! It's working and her doubts are gone!! Guest guest
Donnie Just reading your post and at that rate you might consider just flying back to Dr A for your fills and you wouldn't have to worry about them being right. I lived in land (very near s AFB and Washington DC) for 3 years and I found many things to be very high, but I did also find many doctors were very competative because of the number in the area. I hope you find a good reasonable doctor Hugs to you Florida
Guest guest
Hi Donnie, Sorry you have have had a slow go with the fills .. it sucks that your Dr is now raising fees just because you were banded in Mexico!?? What the heck difference does it make were you got the band, you know?? Don't remember exactly how far a drive TN was to land, but My fill Dr in Frederick is great and SHE has a "Mexican Band" too!! It's something to think about..$200/ no Fluro...a cheap hotel room and gas is all you'll need. Hope things can get going again for you..soon Dana -------------- Original message -------------- From: Donnie Shelton <donnies1007@...> Hi I was reading some of the post and i came upon your post. I am so happy for you .I know, what you were feeling because i had 2 fills .my first one was a good fill 1 cc and the next one was 1/2 cc my weight loss is not going well .and the cost is the same each time i go 500 dollars.that why i have had only two.I calleda doctor today in maryville tn i got his name from a post.when I called ,they said ,the cost has changed.and i would have to call them back tomarrow ,the cost was 300.00 but now there will be added charges for patient having surg in Mexco.I was so mad .I am going to call back tomarrow but it,s not looking to good.I am so up set how can i lose this weight if i can,t get the fills.I have paid 1000.00 for fills and 8.500 surg and only lost 20 pound since June. .nanacomcast (DOT) net wrote: Hi all, Just wanted to let you know about a wonderful "tear filled" moment on New Years Eve!! Guest guest
Hello Folks!! Here in Ontario, we have an amusement park called Wonderland with rides and roller coasters. Well, I am on another coaster. It's a downhill-only-coaster, called the MGB ONEderland! Yeah!!! It's one of the most exciting rides I have had in the past 20 years! Although I still have another 70 or so pounds to lose, it's such a nice place to be! It's ONEderful to be in ONEderland! As always, thank you to Dr. P and Dr. R and the rest of the Clos staff and fellow MGB'ers for all of your continued support. A very special hello and hug to my Mini-Mates. I wish you all the best in your continued success. Guest guest
A BIG CONGRATS TO YOU!!!!! I am so happy for you! Keep up the good work!! Beth > > For the first time in over four years, the first number on the scale is a one. Granted, it's just barely a one, if I gain any weight I'll be back to having a two for the first number, but my weight loss is now a little over 40 lbs. I still have another 60 or 70 to go. Like I said when I joined, I just barely fit in here. My total goal is " only " 110 lbs. I'm well on my way to that and I'm thrilled to be in " Onederland " . How is everyone else doing? > - >
