, that is a cute one, I need to remember where I put mine, usually in a box

with a lid, we have cats and one of them is a little too playful, so I don't

trust him around my stuff. He has a habit of bringng in gifts to me and I have

had my fill of dead birds or live lizards on the kitchen floor. No way is he

going to get either of my processers. Selma

Re: Wet CI.. Speaking from experience/Selma

Hi Selma,

No.. it didn't happen in CA, it happened in MI at my home. I didn't

actually drop the ci in the toilet, rather I had it sitting on a

stand beside the toilet and reached over to get a hair tie. The hair

tie caught my ci and sent it flying off to the land of the poopoo

monsters..LOl Luckily there were no monsters lurking at the time and

it was pure clean water.. as clean as toilet water can be <Grin>

This just happened a couple of months ago and I'm much more careful

of where I set my processor down now.

Hugs,

Silly

to remind me to be very careful. They also told me about a patient

who had the CI surgery, after she was hooked up, she didn't like it

and refused to wear it. Well, I didn't like being scapled and it

seemed to take for ever for my hair to grow back, but after going

thru what I did, I sure wasn't going to give up........like the rest

of you, I'm no sissy.

you were very lucky. One of my friends accidentally knocked her

headpiece for her BWP just as she was flushing and it fell into the toilet

and the strength of the flush disconnected it and carried it away. Even a

headset was costly to replace, though not 6,000. She was without sound until

a new one could be gotten. Cheers, Ruth
